Facebook making some noise!

I understand that Facebook is an engaging Social Media site that offers great potential for marketers, but are they starting to push the boundaries of annoying now?  As consumers in the Internet Age, we are already being bombarded with an overwhelming amount of information that just cannot be digested by most brains.  The more these sites encroach, the more we struggle.  At some point people will simply disengage.  Do new efforts by Facebook like sound alerts; paid/promoted posts and ‘Us’ pages push the envelope that far?  Time will tell, but there is certainly no shortage of complaints about these new efforts by the social giant and others.
